Capitol 1212

Capitol 1212 are a production duo from sunny Scotland, Professa Fresh and Fly-T. They’ve been promoting events, winning DJ comps and generally being badmen for a while now. Their most recent release is a collaborative affair that is intended to directly benefit the people of Haiti (all proceeds go to MSF who are working over there). The “History of Silence” EP includes lyrical input from some people you may have heard of including Profisee, Serocee, Mr Bang On and Boston legend Edo G. It also includes some remix work by Nasty P and Dema.

You can get it from any number of the usual retail sites including Amazon, iTunes, DJshop.de, peoplesmusicstore or Juno.

Have you done that? Are you sure? Paid real money for it and everything? I suppose I’m going to have to trust you aren’t I?

The boys first vinyl release in 2008 was the “Raw and Disorder” EP. This featured vocals from a few more people you may have heard of including Profisee, Grandmaster Caz and Donald D. I know, I couldn’t believe it either when I first heard about it.

The good news is that you lucky people get to download high quality mp3s of this EP completely for free by clicking right HERE. You can also click on the player below to have a bit of a listen.

If you like what you hear you can keep up to date with Capitol 1212 and their goings on at their blog here, and just to leave you with a little something extra below you will find the highlights of what happened to them when they went on Radio 1.
